Storiando Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be able to enter into a binding agreement.

Minors may use the Service, but must have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be responsible for their use.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login information secure
• Activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

3. User Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate on Storiando ("User Content"), including stories, drafts, notes, and prompts.

We do not claim ownership over your creative works.

3.2 License to Operate the Service

To run the platform, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store your content
• Process it through our tools (including AI features)
• Display it to you inside your account
• Make backup copies

This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

3.3 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated output may be a mix of your input, model behavior, and data used to train third-party models (e.g., OpenAI). You are responsible for reviewing and using AI outputs appropriately.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Publish or share content that is abusive, threatening, hateful, or infringing
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform
• Interfere with system integrity or security
• Use the Service to generate harmful or illegal material

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI Features and Limitations

Storiando uses third-party AI providers such as OpenAI. By using AI features, you understand that:

• Prompts and content may be processed by those providers
• AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content
• AI should not be relied on for legal, medical, or factual accuracy

We do not guarantee that AI output will be unique, publishable, or free of copyright issues.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Payments are handled securely by our payment processor.

By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees
• Allow recurring charges for subscription plans unless cancelled
• Provide accurate billing information

We may modify pricing, but will notify you in advance.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

We strive to give you the best possible service, but if for any reason you are not satisfied, we are here to help. Refunds are handled by our payment processor. To request a refund, contact us and we will submit the request on your behalf.

We offer a minimum 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. We also honor refund requests that are required by law in your region.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. Unless required by law, we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period.

8. Termination

You may stop using Storiando at any time and request deletion of your data.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• Your actions harm the platform or other users
• Required by law

Upon termination, we may retain minimal data where legally required or for security purposes, but your content will be deleted upon request.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, code, and platform materials belong to Storiando or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform.

This does not apply to your own creative works.

10. Third-Party Services

Storiando relies on third-party providers such as:

• OpenAI (AI processing)
• Google Analytics (usage analytics)
• Payment processors (payments)
• AWS and Vercel (hosting)

Your use of the Service also means you agree to the terms of these providers where applicable.

11. Privacy

Your use of Storiando is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process data. You can find it at: https://storiando.com/privacy

12. Disclaimers

Storiando is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

• AI accuracy, creativity, or uniqueness
• Service availability or uptime
• That your content will be free of errors

Use the platform at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

14. Governing Law

Because Storiando operates from Spain, these Terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable EU regulations. Disputes will be handled through the appropriate courts in Spain unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when needed. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the website or by email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
